Thermage uses radio frequency energy to heat the deep layers of the skin, causing them to contract and tighten over a 4 to 6 month period and giving a the treatment area a well deserved lift.

Non-surgical facelift? This technique is helpful for creating a more defined jaw line, neck and diminishing the naso-labial folds (the fold between the nose and the lip). This procedure is ideal for the patient who is not quite ready for a surgical lift. You can achieve tightening of the saggy skin above and below the eyelids and improve the crepey texture there as well. During the procedure the surface of the skin is protected with a cooling membrane, although you will feel a deep warming sensation which quickly resolves.

Following the procedure there is no bruising or marks on the skin. There may be slight swelling for a few days. The great thing is that there is no real downtime after Thermage!

We can combine this with Botox treatments to optimize your results. Botox can be used to relax the muscles before or during the Thermage is performed to enhance results. We can combine Botox, Fillers and collagen treatments to get your desired look. For example f the skin is nicely tighten yet the cheeks appear flat, some Radiesse can help achieve some volume in the cheek area to create lift while the Thermage will tighten the skin. Also as we tighten the earlobe, we can inject some filler, like Juvederm, into the lobe itself and the skin in front of the ear which tends to wrinkle as we age.
